Healthy Choice Power Bowls: Cauliflower Curry

3/5 Stars 🌟🌟🌟

If you asked me to describe this Power Bowl in 3 words, I’d say, “Warm. Definitely Warm.” I guess that speaks more to the strength of my microwave and less to the flavor profiles of the Health Choice Power Bowl Cauliflower Curry.

It’s like the frozen meal equivalent of when someone comes to your comedy show and afterwards, when you ask how they liked it, they say “you sure looked like you were having fun up there!” (Shudder.)

Taste: ⅗.

I mean, we’re reviewing frozen meals here. And specifically the frozen meals that are on sale, not even the fancy ones (because those are like $6 and if I wanted to spend $6 on lunch I’d just buy a real lunch.) 3 seems like a pretty decent accomplishment here!

This tasted completely fine, for the 2-3 bites that it lasted.

Ease of Cooking: 5/5.

The sweet angel babies at Healthy Choice didn’t make us cut a slit OR microwave, stir, microwave again. I love them.

Appearance: ⅗

Okay, so it looked absolutely nothing like the picture BUT, it gets extra points for the weird little cardbowl bowl that it’s in. I don’t know if it actually was environmentally friendly, but it sure gave me a smug feeling like it is. Call me Greta Thunberg 2 :).

Overall: ⅗

It’s the equivalent of the music that plays in the Kohl’s by my parents’ house – inoffensive, forgetful, somehow probably Ed Sheeran’s fault.
